Software development and global e-commerce

Software that ships. Stores that sell worldwide.

Discorbit builds web apps, mobile apps, games and desktop tools, and builds and runs online stores that reach customers in every market.

Who we are

We are a software development and e-commerce company. We design and build apps, platforms and tools, and we build and run online stores that sell across borders. Two crafts, one team, one standard.

What we do

Two crafts, one studio.

Most teams do one or the other. We do both every day, so the software we write is shaped by what it takes to sell, and the stores we build are engineered like products.

Software development01

Apps, platforms and tools, built end to end.

From the first sketch to the release build. Design, engineering, testing and launch are handled by one team that stays with the product after it goes live.

E-commerce02

Online stores that sell in every market.

Store builds, marketplace selling and the plumbing behind them: payments, shipping, tax setup and the product content that makes a listing convert.

  • Store design and build
  • Marketplace selling
  • Payments and shipping
  • Catalogue and listings
  • Custom integrations
  • Analytics and conversion

We sell online ourselves. Discorbit runs its own e-commerce business across borders, so the stores we build for clients are designed the way a seller actually needs them.

How we work

From idea to launch.

Four stages, each with something you can see and approve before the next one begins.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn the business, the users and the constraints, then agree the scope, timeline and budget in writing.

  2. 02

    Design

User flows, wireframes and a visual design you can click through before any production code is written.

  3. 03

    Build

Short development cycles. Each one ends with a working build you can open, test and comment on.

  4. 04

    Launch and grow

Release, app store submission or store go-live, followed by monitoring, fixes and new features.

Engagement 01

Fixed-scope project

A defined product or store with an agreed scope, timeline and price. You know the full cost before work starts.

Good for: a first version, a new store, a rebuild.

Engagement 02

Dedicated team

Designers and engineers working on your product month to month, with priorities you set and can change.

Good for: products that keep evolving.

Engagement 03

Launch and care

We keep an existing app or store healthy: updates, fixes, performance work and small improvements.

Good for: live products that need a steady hand.

Why Discorbit

Built by people who ship their own.

We make and sell our own software and goods, so we hold client work to the standard we need for ourselves.

One team, idea to launch

Design, engineering and commerce sit together, so nothing gets lost in a hand-off between agencies.

Sellers ourselves

We run an e-commerce business of our own. Advice on stores and marketplaces comes from doing it.

Clear, written updates

Progress, decisions and next steps are written down, so they read the same in any time zone.

You own what we build

Source code, accounts and assets are handed over to you. No lock-in to keep you as a client.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Something else on your mind? Write to info@discorbit.com

What kind of projects do you take on?

Web applications, mobile apps, games, desktop tools and online stores. We build first versions from scratch and we also take over products that already exist.

Do you work with clients in other countries?

Yes. We work remotely with clients worldwide. Communication is written and scheduled, so a difference in time zones does not slow a project down.

How do you price a project?

A well-defined project gets a fixed quote. Ongoing work is billed monthly. Either way you receive a written estimate before anything starts.

Who owns the code and the store?

You do. Once the work is paid for, the source code, accounts and design files are yours, and we hand them over in full.

Can you take over an existing app or store?

Yes. We start with a review of what is there, tell you plainly what we find, and propose a plan before changing anything.

How do we get started?

Send a short brief with the form below or by email. We reply with questions, then a proposal covering scope, timeline and cost.

Start a project

Tell us what you want to build or sell.

A few lines are enough to begin. Share the idea, the stage it is at and any deadline, and we will come back with questions and next steps.
